Due to the success of barbecueswap finance in the first two days we were forced to comply with our responsibility and migrate servers so that the entire community is safe from any attack.
What happened to our previous website?
We had to change the server and move to another domain.
Why did this happened?
The previous domain was with a server full of attempts to harm security, bugs and for the security of the project the best thing was to improve the Barbecueswapfinance.com domain.
However we will try to eventually return to the old domain. It is the one we like the most.
What does this imply?
That changing the server was worth it. It is important to safeguard the safety of investor funds. Especially from the investors who supported us from the beginning.
BarbecuesSwapFinance grew so fast that we had to act faster.
We want to tell you that the migration ended and now the project and the funds are more secure than ever! We have a maximum security server.
Once the server was changed, we noticed that the platform was not working at its best and that bugs were interfering with the user experience.
We just weren’t going to allow this. The Barbecue team is perfectionist and leaves nothing to chance.
Luckily we acted quickly. We know it took a long time, but everything is safe. Also luckily we had our temporary page up and running(Unfortunately with a not quite good performance). But as I said, the Barbecue Team likes to have the best performance, always.
It was taking much longer than we thought so we found ourselves stuck, trying to find a quick solution, and trying to do damage control in the community, while panic was slightly setting in.
Luckly we noticed that our beloved community wasn’t abandoning us. The fear was there, but everyone quickly believed us when we said that nothing shady was happening on our part.
We read encouraging messages and always consider that the safety of the project and its investors comes first.
One of our Admins, The SousChef was in charge of reassuring the community while he was working on solving problems and disproving some of the nonsense that was being said.
We fully understood the anger on the part of the people but we were not going to put the entire project at risk.
What made us do all this knowing that it could be bad in the short term and that it would scare part of the community?
1)That we really believe in Barbecueswap finance as a long-term project.
2)We believe in $BBQ as token for long-term HOLD and that the path of BarbecueswapFinance is long and that ensuring safety has to be the #1 priority!
3)That being honest to the community is the best way to have their trust.
4)To understand that no matter how difficult a decision is, everything is for the growth of the project.
We will be doing an Airdrop for the $BBQ Holders as a reward method for the problems we have had.
The project grew too fast and we had to act. Having been sincere and apologizing in behalf of the entire Barbeceue team.
